Not only do we have many superb tracks for you, but its also worth reminding you for the 10 billionth time that Mightyfools are amazing and their EP ‘For The Kidz’ came out yesterday. Its definately worth a buy, especially ‘Hoo Haa’, my track of the moment. I’m not going to post ‘Hoo Haa’ or any of the others cos they deserve to be bought. But here’s loadsa free beauties ranging from fidget, electro, tropical, tech and dubstep. You may even get some more prezzies on christmas day if your lucky! But there is a guaranteed ‘best of 2009’ post to look forward to.

We posted ‘Iron Man’ a while back now, which is definately one of the tunes of the year for me, but has only just been released recently on BMKLTSCH RCRDS. The two remixes of ‘Iron Man’ by Hostage and Stereoheroes are fucking insane, so I’m gonna posted both those and the original in case you’ve no idea what I’m on about. Massive year for BMKLTSCH RCRDS, big ups!
Blatta & Inesha’s new EP is really repping the techy afrobeat sound but still keeping their grinding electro style. The Nt89 remix is more techy and Congorock’s is a huge ravy beeper. A trully massive record and highly recommended you buy it for the perfect 320 versions.
Loads of new amazingly amazing stuff for you today. First up its Lee Mortimer and Laidback Luke’s much anticipated ‘Blau!’ EP with remixes from Doorly, Noob, Nacho Lovers and LA Riots. I’m not gonna post the original cos you guys should really buy it, but I will give you the Doorly dubstep remix, a great dubstep interpretation of an absolute fidget classic.
I’m so glad this EP has been released. An EP of pure African happiness brought about by Douster, Myd, Radioclit and Lazy Flow. We’ve already posted a low quality version of Douster’s ‘King of Africa’ which incedently is one of the best tracks all year for me, but here’s my other favourite track from this brilliant EP. Buy it buy it buy it buy it.
We’re all over every Sound Pellegrino EP. Even if the artist is obscure, there’s bound to be some big names remixing, and usually the original track is sick anyway. For Nouveau Yorican’s EP there is no exception. Grooving, rhythmic, bongo-filled music porn with remixes from the likes of Harvard Bass, Douster and Sandro Silva.
The Squire of Gothos blew my face off the other day when the first drop of their remix of B. Rich’s ‘It’ll be Alright’ with a trully ugly bassline. Those guys are fucking nutjobs. Also a nice little remix of Jinder for ya.
Next up, new EP from Oh Snap!!, but I’m particularly excited about the Mightyfools remix, naturally. With classic thumping beat and whirring bass, Wizard faves do it again. The EP also features sick remixes from the likes of Jackwob and Treasure Fingers.
‘Pigeon Flu’, a banger resulting from the collaboration Blatta & Inesha and Mustard Pimp……isn’t out yet. Here’s some filthy Blatta & Inesha remixes to keep you going.
Correction: ‘Pigeon Flu’ is out, and here it is. Thank you Rat Rabbits.
Dubstep’s finest Excision and Datsik produce yet another mind-blowing chugger. The same goes for Bar 9.
The Bloody Beetroots extras EP is out and about. Here’s a track and a video and shit.
Yes DJ Manaia, more and more of this everyday please! Angry afrobeat at its best.
Last but not least, new remix from wobble kid Calvertron which, as always, is top quality.

7 new awesome tracks and covering a wide array of todays dance scene. We have Dutch house, dubstep, tribal, tech, minimal, wobbly fidget and whirring electro. Bring it on bitch!
LEE MORTIMER – IT DON’T STOP New Lee Mortimer original which has really impressed me. His stuff over the last year as generally been ok but nothing special. This track has some very well executed wobbly bass and a bit of variation. Keep it up Lee.
EXCISION, DATSIK – SWAGGA Absolute dubstep classic already. Been in pipeline for a while now but just thought I’d upload the full version. Chug, wobble, scream, die!
CLAUDE VONSTROKE – VOCAL CHORDS Angelic minimal house track literally using vocal chords cut up and laid into perfect order.
KID KOUMAS – GIRLZ WHAT (PROWLEY BURGLARS REMIX) The rather elusive Prowley Burglars has produced an absolutely banging whirring electro house remix, shame we don’t know more about them.
AFROJACK – ZEGGIE Starting off with ‘A Millie’ vocals then going to relentless bleeps and then constantly morphing throughout this great house track.
LUCA LOZANO – BERLINETTA (J PHILIP REMIX) Ominous sounding tech house track with a great ambience, weird sounds and tropical beat.
CLASSIXX, VILLAINS – I’M ON IT FEAT. O8O (AC SLATER REMIX) Bouncy house from the consistent AC Slater, slightly repetetive but not you standard wobbler.

We haven’t seen any Proxy originals for bloody ages, apart from a rip of ‘8000’. This track ‘Who are you?’ has been hanging around for ages, I heard about a year ago on Kissy Sell Out’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’ show but it seems Proxy is actually going to release it soon. We absolutely love the Bloody Beetroots as well which well no doubt come out on the EP so we’ll have some Proxy 320s for once! This is just a rip off myspace, as is the Marseille remix, but you don’t need 320 appreciate the awesomeness.
Out ages ago but I’ve only just discovered this menacing bass driven wonder.
FAGGET FAIREYS – SAMO TI (AC SLATER REMIX)
The intro to DJ Manaia’s latest mix which has some epic wobbly chugging bass.
hello!!!!!!!!!!! so apparently i’ve gone a.w.o.l (i do not even know what this stands for) – well i have returned! been at melt festival near berlin among other things – and it has all been unreal! big MEGA heads up for the other two wizards who’ve been producing (at a frightening rate) so many insane posts! here goes////
friday was opened by the unbelievable james yuill – who played a phenomenal set of catchy vocals, cheery guitar, raw drum machines and massive synthesisers – and was generally a seriously cool performer. proceeding to a beach stage to try and catch the end of TRG‘s set we stumbled upon tim exile – someone i had never heard and damn he was obscene! if you were at glade or dour you may have seen him play, sampling and looping his voice live over drum machines and sequencers in an entirely unique drum and bass style. it was the most rapid, energetic thing i saw at melt – I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO AND SEE HIM PLAY!!! hudson mohawke followed on from this and produced an unbelievable set – LITERALLY FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every genre, all glitched up and shmoozied around in true luckyme fashion – big up to hudson in a big way. royksopp as you would expect – lit up the main stage – so much fun – and aphex twin and hecker, who followed this, played an extremely disturbing set that actually went down very well in the rain and 2am. TRAGEDY struck when SIDEWAYS RAIN (i shit you not – fully horizontal) attacked the stages and MODERAT (the duo of apparat and modeselektor-probably the best and biggest act of the festival in german opinions) were called off (so was trentmoller).
my saturday began with animal collective – a sadly dissapointing performance hindered by bad sound balance and a couple of poor song choices – but it immediately picked up with a fucking amazing technoey minimal set from james holden(i thought considering we were in germany techno should go above all else) – and possibly my favourite new song discovery of the whole festival was played – warp records’ chris clark and his recent creation ‘growls garden’ – on a hill beneath a giant crane – looking over a giant lake- wooowzer. BURAKA SOM SISTEMA then played a crazy highly energetic hour of banging rhythm, followed by bloc party who were also incredible – and as another wizard has just pointed out – the night ended with erol alkan and boyz noize’s 4hour collab set of banging electro and techno – fantastic. sunday we saw kasabian – who i have now vowed to listen to more – and the festival came to an end with firstly oasis, then passion pit, and finally A VERY TIRED PAIR OF LEGS that are currently still in a process of recoveryy….

and finally – an absolute beast fresh from party like us records champion B RICH!!!! so so so bubbly and insane – ENJOY!!!
John Roman just sent us these two banging tunes. Heavy, mad, bleepy, whirring electro. Definately give this guy a listen! You may have heard his remix of ‘Warp’, which was tasty, well these are definately a step up into the stratosphere.
Herve, the English ambassador of fidget has produced these two new remixes are of usual excellent quality, great production and pushing all the right buttons. I especially like the remix of ‘Ice Cream’, the original’s so cool anyway, with clever, hypnotic use of the vocals and whirring bass sounds piercing the inner depths of your brain. Be sure to get the remix of Calvin Harris as well which mixes it up between straight electro and a bit of wobbly bass.
Foamo has really come into his own this year. Producing some really memorable wobbly riddims (‘Wadance’) and almost poppy, feel good remixes (remix of La Roux’s ‘Bulletproof’). These two remixes show both sides of his talent, with the remix of Diplo & Laidback Luke being a wobbly fucking dancefloor destroyer, and the remix of Franz Ferdinand slightly more mainstream but still hitting the spot. Check ’em out!
The Bloody Beetroots produce two very un-Bloody Beetroots tracks. One with hip-hop group the Cool Kids, which I actually like a lot, not being a big hip-hop fan. Use of a sample from the ‘Warp’ synth means you can’t go wrong anyway. And the second is a very chilled, 80’s style remix of Ryskee’s ‘Leave Me Amor’.
Now a bunch of awesome new tracks from various artists of supreme interest
New D.I.M. original material (with a little bit of help from TAI) finally! This guy was one of the reasons I got into this world of bass, and its great to hear some new stuff from him. His typical glitchy, bleepy, bassy electro style taking over the show, with a new creepy twist to it. OH YES!!!!!
Again an artist sticking to his guns, A1 Bassline, with machine gun wobble and a thumping drum beat, this time swaying to the dancehall beat, like the blogosphere. He seems to like remixing Little Boots!
Its business as usual with AC Slater, remixing the wicked cool Dre Skull. Resonating bass throughout and some catchy vocals. Not groundbreaking, but certainly not to be missed!
Thats all from me, I hate doing these sort of mega-posts with no meaning to them, but then I hate not being up to date more, so there’s my lazy way of doing it. Enjoy these bassy goodies!

Cos I am Killing People. You be the judge. My new remix of A Girl & A Gun’s ‘Teenage Blitz’ which includes angry wobbly bassline and a touch of dubstep, I feel has got many aspects of a good underground dance track.
‘Mr. Blobbly’ I also enjoy greatly, but have to admit a little help from the Mightyfools Bassline & Electro ‘Sounds To Sample’ pack, creativity was still needed however!
And finally is the mixtape which I finished a month ago, where I incoorporated my favourite tracks at the time, kicking off with the superb title music of cult classic ‘A Clockwork Orange’.
Title theme music from “A Clockwork Orange”
Mustard Pimp – Valium
Mixhell – Boom Da (Crookers Remix)
Redman – I Hold The Crowd (Gigi Barocco Remix)
Jack Beats – What (Foamo Edit)
