The recent surge of new fidget house into the blog has definately been topped by three producers for me: Calvertron, Bill Eff and Mini K. First up we have Calvertron from South West England who I’ve raved about before a few times for his style of energetic fidget with a perfect mix of trebbly synths and wobbly bass. Here are some of his crazy remixes.
Blatta & Inesha’s new EP ‘Urban Power’ is insane, we’ve already posted the original ‘Raw Power which we love. Calvertron has also done a remix of the other original track ‘Urban Cougar’ but I thought this one was better. Fidgety synths make a powerful tune and then he encoorporates a very Jack Beats-eque wobble sound and rhythm.
Ascending and descending sythns mixed up with wet wobbles in this remix. Some very trashy sounds all in all making a powerful remix.
Menacing sythns which hold for the first of the track and then the signature Calvertron comes in with his superb ability to mix the trebbly synths up with sick wobbly bass.

Even more hugeness! They just keep on popping out from nowhere. This first one is only 128 kbps but its such a track! Literally raw power in a kind of heavy electr0/trance no nonsense banger! Its coming out on their Urban Power EP on Jack Knife Records with remixes from Calvertron, The Bulgarian and Sawgood. Its gonna be big!
Hostage is a talented man. Last year he was producing drum n bass, then onto electro/fidget house and now he’s pumping out the tribal beats and dubstep. This a lovely dub track, he can do anything bloody well!
Now what will be Toxic Avengers first single from his full length LP. The single will feature remixes from Drop The Lime, Cyberpunkers, South Central and Franki Chan. Its a huge high tempo electro track with a really great feel to it due its quality production, catchy melody and great sounds.
Its actually quite funny how similar all of A1 Bassline’s remixes are sounding. Bit of the singing from the original, then a drop into the similar wobble rhythms and sounds. We love A1 Bassline, but I think the time as come to move on to a slightly different sound or style for his remixes. His new originals that we’ve heard on his mixes are a fucking superb, more of that please.

To warm all you bass heads who are brave enough to come to the Wizards Are Better presents Mustard Pimp, Stereoheroes, Dem Slackers and Klose One night, I thought I’d post some new tracks which will hopefully be played at the night, and which are INSANE!
First up we have Vakkum’s edit of the Bloody Beetroots remix of The Proxy’s ‘Who Are You’. I know, exciting! Its a good quality setrip, so it certainly won’t dissapoint. This is trully the Bloody Beetroots at their best.
Now another Vakkum edit of a new Proxy track. Again a setrip, but we like having exclusive tracks here! A strange, manic but excellent track.
Herve’s bringing out the wobbly bangers. One of his best, pushing all the right buttons. Who da champ? You are Herve!
New Blatta & Inesha remix with their usual raw power, with afro-beats and ravy synths. CRAZY!
The old style fidget still gets me. Headshotboyz bring us a jackin’ remix that’ll certainly get you bouncing.
ENJOY THESE FUCKERS!!

Nic Sarno is yet another guy from the Italian ‘fidget’ scene who has impressed me. This aint raw power though, its more subtle and quirky, using strange noises and clean sounding drums. People have described Sarnos style as ‘jackin house’….. whatever. Be sure to check him out at Bugged Out this sunday.
Now something for the RAW ENERGY addicts!

THANKS TO MIIG AND THE BADASSES OVER AT HUSH HOUSE FOR THESE BABIES!!

[great big monster/hip-hop rooted stomper - obliterating bass, i honestly might hesitate to say that this is mustard pimp on some really huge doses of crack - i fear for the future of this world if blatta and inesha continue with this current level of majesty]

BLATTA and INESHA – BLOW UP (BLATTA and INESHA ‘SCREWDRIVER‘ remix)
[this is a damn genius progressive tune with midget housey sounds and a bloody intense screwdriver whine that unscrews you slowly - unnerving but again - just ridiculously talented i could dance to this for a whole long time - waaaaaa!!!]

Recently I realised how I’ve only really been posting banging, dirty electronic tracks. I thought to myself, what about the electronic tracks which I listen to and give me that uplifting feeling which isn’t brought up by obscene drops and dirty synth sounds. So I thought I’d share the more relaxing side of electronic music with you which have been a huge part of my listening.
Shinichi Osawa – Main Street Electrical Parade Borerline cheesy but actual electronic genius. The Japanese hero really does have huge array of styles and this one is a real feel good track.
The Chemical Brothers ft. Fatlip – The Salmon Dance I’m sure you’ve heard this one, but if you haven’t, I have nothing to say but LISTEN. An absolute classic with a cheeky synth melody and a chorus to die for.
Red Organ Serpent Sound – Autobahn (La Priest Remix) Only 96kbps, really sorry. La Priest as you may or not know is Samuel Eastgate’s of Late of the Pier superb side project. The last half of this song is so unbeleivably happy and just awesome.
The Chemical Brothers – Burst Generator Electronica/physcadelica genius. With delayed guitar and synth hugeness and a driving beat, this one is euphoria through and through.
Right, relaxing time is over, here’s a new batch of bangers! Enjoy.
Cazals – Poor Innocent Boys (Shinichi Osawa Remix) A fidgety Bloody Beetrootsesque drop with some feel good tunes in there as well.
Blatta & Inesha – El Ritmo Barbaro Some cool Italian fidget. This stuff is a breath of fresh air. Whiring, chugging and squelching, ultra cool!
The Prodigy – Omen (Hervé’s End of the World Remix) Really dirty! You can always trust Herve. Cool vocal samples and a tasty, descending hook.
Hostage – Shake It (AC Slater Remix) We LOVED the orginal. The remix by the successful New York lad is also superb with an ominous wobble bass pulsating ryhtmically rivalling the original’s also freaky sound.
The Qemists – Dem Na Like Me (A1 Bassline Remix) One of his more commercial remixes but doesn’t let you down with the classic A1 bass sound and a catchy hook.
