A bit of a joke

Its always nice when well respected producers make an amusing or plain silly track. Here Beataucue have cleverly remixed ‘Day n Night’ into an amalgamation of pop and classic tunes, bastardising the bassline of the track at a number of times to imitate Backstreet Boys, the Looney Tunes theme and well known melodies.

None other than Radioclit for next joke track. It’s a remix/edit of the classic silly Ibiza anthem ‘We Like To Party’ by the Vengaboys (who used to porn stars I discovered recently!) cutting out the childish vocals and modernising the beat. A ridiculously fun and happy tune.

Not sure how old this is, don’t really give a shit. Its a glorious ultra-africanised remake of Vampire Weekend’s ‘Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa’ by The Very Best who I’m sure most of you are familiar with (Radioclit and Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya). They seem to like Ezra Koenig’s voice and rightly so, very suited to African melodious affairs!
